We LOVE experiencing live music. FIDI is still working on this part of neighborhood life, but here are some options that are currently going on:
MONDAY – Cowgirl Seahorse features live music every Monday starting around 8pm. As if that weren’t enough, the bands are usually accompanied by drink specials. This coming week has the Crusty Gentlemen performing and will offer $4 Modelos (259 Front Street, corner of Dover Street).
FRIDAY – The Growler often has live music both Friday and Saturday nights. This week they’ve got the Acme Band Co. in their upstairs loft (55 Stone Street).
SATURDAY – Ulysses usually has great bands playing on Saturday nights. Often there is a small cover fee, usually in the range of $10-12. This Saturday night the band is HOT LAVA and they go on at 10pm (95 Pearl Street or enter on Stone Street, just off Hanover Square).
SUNDAY – Fraunces Tavern features traditional Irish music from 3:30pm-6:30pm (54 Pearl Street, corner of Broad). Once that’s over, roll on up to the Dead Rabbit for more live Irish music from 6-10pm each Sunday (30 Water Street, between Broad Street and Coenties Slip).
VARIOUS DAYS – Trinity Church has classical musical performances, including Bach, Handel and Debussy, during the day at 1:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (Broadway at Wall Street).
